I made this quick Adobe Illustrator video a while back for a work presentation - I think it may have been as far back as April or May! It just shows me creating a very simple vector image of some friendly fruit. Maybe it’ll be useful to somebody - enjoy! (The finished image is here.)

Now, I started three of these about two years ago, but never had the motivation to finish, or just got bored of them, but they are hanging over my head just demanding to be finished before I start any more work, so I guess I shall try to get these to some degree of completion! I want to move away from the whole “Let’s draw celebrities!” thing, so just want to get these out the way, and then move on to something more exciting.

Three of these are Vexels (in my pre-Illustrator days) - top row, and bottom right - they were created in Adobe Photoshop in a Vector style using many raster layers and as such are crippling to load up, work with and save because the files are so huge. I may have to flatten them down a little. The bottom left image is my newest, started only a few months ago, and is a Vector created in Illustrator which has a much smaller file size (thank goodness!!).

Hopefully I shall get a few of these finished soon!

FINALLY, after many months of procrastinating and whatnot, the new site is launched! I plan to use this blog to add progressions of work I am doing to keep me motivated. I have some really good ideas for illustrations at the moment, so watch this space
