About
Who am I?
My name is Michelle Dinan and I am a 24 year old website designer based in Bournemouth, England. I attended the Arts Institute at Bournemouth for three years from 2003-2006 to get my graphic design degree which mainly taught me a lot about conceptual design and typography.
From there on I decided that I really wanted to go into website design, after being interested in it from the age of 15. I am self-taught in HTML and CSS, have become increasing obsessed with web standards over the past couple of years, and am always looking for ways to better my skills.
In my spare time, I like to draw with pencils and make vector illustrations with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, some of which I sell as stock illustration. I am a manic Dance Dance Revolution fanatic (Dancing Stage for those in the UK) and always have about five video games on the go at any one time.
What’s the point of this website?
I plan to use this website to display my work and to motivate me to do new illustrations on a regular basis. Perhaps in the future it will be used to display other creative things, we’ll see
